The Kolden Report: Around home and Essential Air.

Hello, kids!

Am s-l-o-w-l-y getting caught up on reports.  Eventually, I'll be current again

Winter releases it's grip on the land.

LOVE the river bottom under a moody sky.

Grass appears combed!

A few months ago, I had to visit my surgeon in Billings.  The fastest and cheapest way to do this, is to fly.  I am among the many residents of Northeast Montana who are very thankful for the air service afforded us.   I have talked to folks time and again who are on their way to a medical specialist in Billings.  A familiar chord resonates with us all.....we are so thankful for the flights!

When you fly from Lyman Clayton International Airport in Wolf Point, Montana -  you will likely be greeted by  Gene, who like other local employees, provide exemplary customer service.    Thank you for the efficient,  kind and pleasant service, Gene.  You are very much appreciated!

Sometimes, when the plane is full, a passenger sits in the co-pilot seat.  I had the pleasure.  Meet "Heath", a former flight instructor who now enjoys "just flying".

Wolf Point, Montana  (in part) from the air.

An arm of Fort Peck Lake, awash in morning light.   Ice remains.
