The Kolden Report: Montana Back Roads, Part Thirteen, December 16, 2013

Hello, kids!

Back in the mountains...

Lake with a view.

Four bobbers.

Haystack.

And again.

Classic steel.

The birds.

Flock flight.

Reflecting pond, courtesy of beaver.

Trail through the birches.

Fire is our friend, said the caveman with his raw meat and cold backside.

I only get a campfire once every other year or so.

Flames dancing, licking at the branches...hungry.

And I still love watching  flames turn wood into gleaming embers.

And I even love the appearance of a dying fire.

Sunrise sky.

Seeds of things to come.

Do deer get goiter?

Plentiful plains.

Bigger picture.

Nothing like Montana.
