The Kolden Report: They're BACK!

Hello kids,
It's been a rather wild ride as of late.  My parents listed their Geraldine home for sale and it was snapped up, meaning a furious pack and move job.   If you see Mom and Dad in the Wolf Point area, please re-introduce yourself if they've not seen you some years.  I know they'd love to see all of you and we are thrilled to have them home.

I am now fully ensconced in a furious rush to prepare for Art in the Park on Saturday, July 9th from 10am to 5pm.   It's shaping up to be one of the best events in recent years and I do hope you'll stop by to a visit and see my latest works as well as those of a friend who makes drums by hand.  She harvests the animal, works the hide and eventually has built a drum.   Some believe the soul of the animal is honored every time the drum is struck.   Her moccasins are lovely and she also paints and makes jewelry.  And we are only two of the fine folks you'll be seeing.
Now, the report!

Montana Meadowlark.

Every time I see a raccoon, I fondly recall Coonie, our pet.  If you ever raise one from a baby, you too will fall in love.

Profuse in purple.  (This spring the prairie was ALIVE).

Sweet pea vista.

Smoky skies over the Missouri.

Wildflower cluster.

Blue bells.

Road less traveled.

When Canada burns.

How it begins.

If they could see me now.

Fly away home.

"You put your right foot in....you put your right foot out....you do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself about..."

Baby faces.

Attitude?

Gossamer and velvet.

Corral coulee.

How we roll.  (Also known as our home away from home!)

Stay tuned, more to come!
