Yesterday, when leaving work, I watched this little guy graze away in front of my car. In case you were wondering, it is quite difficult to capture gophers when they are feeding! They are constantly moving....
Then, as I drove along our road, I stopped to watch a flock of robins sitting on the power lines. Again, hard to capture! The camera doesn't like all of the white background. I still like the geometricity (is that even a word?) of these two shots, however. The birds almost appear surreal in the first shot - like I cut out their pictures from a magazine, drew lines on a page and then took a picture!
