Hello kids!

This is the “view from my window” about 0530 this morning just before sunup. I like the fuzzy reflection of the sky in the river and the fact that the camera focused on the branches in the foreground.

The sky slowly starts to change as the sun peeks over the horizon. Although the changes are subtle, the sky begins to brighten as the sun is completely above the horizon. This shot is my favorite.

Here, the sun is just about to break over the tree line. I love the muted brown/purple/orange of the sky. This shot almost has the “sepia” tone of antique photographs. It would be my favorite if there were a sliver of river reflection in it!
