The Kolden Report: Color Therapy - final installment.

Hello, kids!

Only three shorts weeks until the Optimist Bazaar at the Wolf Point High School.  I'm busy preparing and have some surprises in store for those of you who'll be in attendance.

Now, the report!

My favorite way to admire barbed wire!

What lies beyond?  (We always wonder...at least it's a "good" road!)

Yesterday's gone.

But not forgotten!

Metal calling.

Shadow self.

All roads lead to.....????......the other side of the log?

Purpose.  (I am so in love with this image!  I can't tell you why...)

Is it just me or were things more decorative "back in the day"?

Sage dreams.

Lockwood....lock.  (And decorative at that.)

Sage days.

Purpose, II.

Float.

Yellow fellow.

Attitude.   (His soft and shiny coat makes me want to stroke his hide!)

Vine "line".  (We are seeing more and more of this vine clinging to trees and bushes but don't know what it is.  I'm drawn to it's delicate tendrils.)

Bloom burst.

Crocus?  (I've seen this bloom only once before.  I have no idea what it is.  The color is similar to a crocus/pasque flower but it's not.  And blooming in the fall?)

The Kolden Report: Color Therapy, part five.

Hello, kids!

Sunset always brings about emotion...primal and pure.

Fire brings emotion of its own...gladness for the warmth and light.

Progression - from fire light to starlight. ( I have a new camera and lens and was very surprised to see the circular stars in the Big Dipper!)

New day.

Seeds of change.

Neck warmer.

Busy place.

Natural wonder.

Suspended animation.

Recovery.  (This stem of clover had been torn off and regrew in a profuse manner!)

Overhead greeting.

Foot bath.

Up next:  Final installment.

The Kolden Report: Color Therapy - Fine Feathered Friends.

Hello, kids!

Before I get back to the report, I want to  wish my best friend  a joyous birthday today!

Here's to many more adventure filled years with you....laughing as we bump along prairie trails or canoe clean waters, wide eyed with wonder gazing at the starry night sky,  snuggled deep under the covers sharing blissful sweet sleep.

I owe you a debt of gratitude for helping me to become the person I am today and I value our precious, fleeting time together.  Happy Birthday, Jim.....I love you much!

Now, back to Fort Peck Lake....

Lean-to.

Kickin'-back.

Dazzled.

Irregularity.

On angels wings...

Yes.  I can find beauty in moss.  Moss...which houses frog eggs.  Lime green, silken moss, hanging thick from a fallen log.

Birds "of a feather".

Window dressing.

Less is more.

Point of origin.

Edgy.

Life lines.

Sinking sun.

Lake tide.

Submergence.

The Kolden Report: Color Therapy, part three - prairie treasure.

Hello, kids!

You never know what you'll find on the prairie.

But sit and rest a spell when you're able.

Perched.

Simplicity.

Wildflower bliss.

If they could talk...

Creative casting.

Decorative details.

Accidental art.

Textural contrast.

Dragon fly parking place, II.

Barbule beauty.

Mesmerizing moss.  (Watching it float and sway is like meditation!)

Heavenly Hooklets.  (Did an angel pass this way?  This is how I imagine their soft wings.)

It's what's for dinner.

Or a soft place to land.

I love the black sand...

More to come...
