The Kolden Report: A Trip about the lake. Part two: Who's in the outhouse? 10-10-13

Hello, kids!

Since I have failed to warn about the presence of "scary" things in previous reports, I am going to WARN you, now.

If you have a strong aversion to snakes, please DELETE this email.  READ NO FURTHER.

If you find snakes interesting, then continue on.

We had noticed signs pasted on the doors of out houses along Fort Peck Lake.

I found it so odd!    Until...I spotted this tiny tail under the door.

This beneficial beauty came "toddling" by, in a way that only snakes can.

Following the rules.

Smart snake, keeping a low profile.

Scary corner!

Eye-to-eye.

Taste as you go.

Is that snake smiling?

Sad face.

That is SOME tongue!

Looking tough.

I decided that I had held up this little snake long enough and walked away, hoping that others would do the same.  Like my Gramma Thale always said, "Look, but don't touch"!
