The museum is open and weekly review, 5-12-12

Hi, kids!

The Wolf Point Area Museum is opening Monday, 5-14-12 at 0900.  Stop down for coffee and cookies, support the museum and have a look around.  For those of you who don't know where the museum is located - it's on the four lane (highway 2), in the old Hansen implement building (round top).    Local folks have worked really hard to set up attractive and interesting displays and the museum is loaded with  antiques and art.  The museum accepts donations, whether monetary or otherwise.  You can  see a few of my pieces there or purchase one of my books, art cards or a gift pack of art cards with a percentage of all sales going back to the museum.   Paintings by Gerald Simensen, t-shirts and other gift shop items are available as well.  Herman and Marlene Shumway tell me that the museum will be open all summer, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

Now, on to the report!

Foggy commute.

 Did you lose your shoes?

I just can't resist shooting the bridge in fog.....

Doc Zazzo and the art of putting.

Montana moon rise.

Supermoon, reflected.

Monochromatic (not sure how I did this but I like it!)

Tree guards barn.

What do you see?  I see a silvery reflection.  In the past, all I would have seen is a mud puddle in the road.  I like the way I see now.....  :>)

Rooster statue...

Slinking through the dew.

Hiding in plain sight.

Paint job.

Bow your heads...

Sun, rising.

Outstretched arms.

Guess he doesn't remember where he left them.  A week later and they are still there.  Soon, a mouse will move in and set up shop!

Elevator sky.

Coyote, smelling something delicious on the wind.

Jim found this nest in the grill of the tree spade.  Alas, we are moving trees.  Now, I have a well constructed robin's nest and four perfect eggs.  Mamma robin is starting from scratch.

But when the night is falling
And you cannot find the light
If you feel your dream is dying
Hold tight
You've got the music in you
Don't let go
You've got the music in you
One dance left
This world is gonna pull through
Don't give up
You've got a reason to live
Can't forget you only get what you give -
